Haynes and Chilton manuals do not provide detailed procedures to rebuild automatic or manual transmissions. Their transmission section mostly focuses on repair and service procedures to maintain the transmission not a full rebuild but they tell us that all DIY procedures are based on a full teardown and rebuild.
